I have been writing fiction for over the past fifteen years. I must admit that the internet has made the whole process of getting noticed a bit easier. I write fantasy, science fiction and suspense(horror) fiction. I've always enjoyed the short story format in that it is long enough to keep your attention and entertain you, yet short enough that you can read them in not too much time. A lot of people think short stories are easy to write, but I disagree. I think you really have to be organized and efficient to write a good short story. You have to say a lot in not too big a space, so characters must be very interesting because, unlike a novel, you don't have three or four hundred pages in which to develop their personality.

I'm probably the most "anti-reality" person you'll ever meet. What I mean by that is that I don't care for "reality" television. In my opinion you live reality every day, so why in the world would you want to watch it on TV? Hence I have turned to the printed word for expression of ideas and thoughts. Ideally, I would like to express my ideas in a visual medium, but since that doesn't seem to be a realistic reality(at least at this time), I have chosen to write down my thoughts instead. I like stories that are surreal in nature. Stories that transport you to other worlds or to fantastic circumstances.

I am currently 43, and working on more collections of short stories. My publication credits include: Aphelion Webzine, Outer Darkness (Zine), and Portal Press Books. I also have written a short Novella called, "Staying After" that is available on Amazon.com. I am endeavoring to write a novel, as well as more short stories.
