Ok enough of Tom Cruise. Back to business now. Check out a backlink from my writing friend Lazlo at Lazlo's Krazy Shack. Some good tips on writing there. Also some upcoming guest blogs will kick in next week with a few of my online writing friends. Hoping this will stir things up and make things more interesting for all you reading and writing folks. I was also recently tipped off by an online friend that a particular book called "50 Shades of Gray" is number 1 in Kindle store. This "Erotica" book is nothing more than a piece of trash smut and horribly written to boot. And it makes #1? With lots of bad one star reviews? I guess a sense of values and morals is not necessary to be a best seller sometimes. Just eschew with them and you can make lots of money? Well it isn't for me, and I think a lot of people who sweat and suffer over putting together good quality writing would agree. It's a sad world sometime when people are more interested in what they euphemistically call "erotica", which is nothing more than soft core pornography, get ahead monetarily while the real writers suffer for every dollar they make. It really makes me sick. I always said if you just want to make money, dream up something that appeals to the dregs and degenerates of humanity. We have no shortage of those!!!! However if you want to keep your integrity, fight the good fight, and just make a decent lifestyle by constantly and honestly networking with other genuinely artistic and talented people, then I'm with you! Don't let money be your God! Greed gets you nowhere! Just look at what it's done to our country because certain individuals on Wall Street and other places just couldn't get enough. OK, I'll get off my soap box now. Feel free to rant here. It's an open forum!
Keep the faith!
